On 12 August, Teide National Park will become the stage for a triple alignment of cosmic events that won't happen again for a very long time. On our exclusive Teide Stars tour, we'll take you above the clouds to witness a truly historic night.

🌟 Why is this a once-in-a-lifetime night?

Eclipse sunset: We'll begin the evening watching the sun slip below the horizon while it is partially eclipsed by the Moon, with 70% coverage. Watching the sunset on Teide is magical enough; seeing it during a solar eclipse is almost mystical.
The Perseids in total darkness (0% Moon): Coinciding with the peak of the famous meteor shower (the Tears of St Lawrence), this night falls on a New Moon. With 0% lunar brightness, the sky will be completely dark, giving us the best meteor visibility in more than a decade. You could see up to 100 shooting stars an hour with the naked eye!
