Solar Eclipse
A unique event! This eclipse is part of Saros 149, an eclipse cycle that occurs every 18 years and 11 days. Although solar eclipses are common around the world, their visibility in a specific location like the Canary Islands is rarer. During the maximum, almost a third of the Sun will be covered by the Moon.
A partial solar eclipse occurs when the Moon passes between the Earth and the Sun, but does not completely cover the SunUnlike a total solar eclipse, where the Moon completely hides the Sun, in a partial eclipse a crescent-shaped Sun is visible in the sky.
Join us and we'll view the sun and its flares with solar telescopes valued at over €20,000. We'll see our star and its flares, and take home a professional photograph and time-lapse video of the eclipse. We'll provide certified glasses for the peak.
